The award winning Smoothy Classic buggy continues to maintain it's place as Australia's first and foremost Independent Suspension buggy with it's many health benefits. Close to 200 Club Pros were using the Smoothy Classic within 3 months of it's inception. Anecdotal evidence suggests that it is much less fatiguing to complete 18 holes compared to using a conventional buggy, contributed to the 'car type' suspension. The majority of the weight is positioned over the rear Independent Suspension System with a push - not - pull design which is easier on the joints and back.
The Classic is fully collapsible in 4 simple stages:
1. Turn handle tri -nut anti clockwise to a loose position to fold down,
2. Lift seat up and tilt forwards,
3. Push handle down and forward to rest on buggy frame,
4. Lift and tilt seat backwards to sit on top of handle.
The Classic glides over bumpy terrain with all three wheels supported by independent suspension negating any vibrations transmitted to the golfer. Other specific features include:
