The Under Par corporate philosophy is of a two-fold origin.

Firstly, to be a leader in innovative niche golf products that are different from the competition, possessing features and benefits but still representing value for money.

Secondly, to represent only the world’s finest golf brands and guarantee the optimum performance of those brands that will benefit the principle, retailer and consumer, guaranteeing growth and brand longevity.

Company History

Under Par Pty Ltd was founded in July 1998 to design and develop quality golf products that filled a market void and were different from the competition. We own the trademarks ‘Eagles & Birdies’, ‘Under Par’ & ‘Smoothy’ and market under these brands throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Business Performance

After conducting extensive research and development, we built our business on selling golf bags that are basically ‘unembellished’ yet functional and fashionable, possessing internal and external features and benefits.

In 2004 we invented and launched the Smoothy independent suspension system. This immediately revolutionized the manual golf cart market. Since 2005 Smoothy has been the No. 1 selling golf buggy brand in Australia, as voted by the Australian Golf Trade.


Our product philosophy is to endeavour to strive for product perfection through relentless time and energy focussed on innovation. This will position all the products at the technical performance end of the product spectrum.
